Webelos Woods is a program to teach scouts about leadership through the use of the outdoors. By creating teams called “patrols”( 6 to 8 scouts), the group of scouts will pick a leader and create a name for themselves. They will develop a cheer and test their artistic skills by making a flag to represent their patrol.

The weekend is split into two parts- Skills Training and Skills Competition. Both parts are equally important. The intention of Webelos Woods is to teach each and every scout what scouting has to offer, while creating confidence, leadership and a sense of accomplishment. The underlying theme for the weekend is FUN!
